The Faye Peterson Transition House (FPTH) provides a safe and
supportive temporary shelter environment, crisis services, counselling,
outreach, transitional support, advocacy, early childhood education,
and support groups to women, youth and their children.
Freedom from abuse is every person’s basic right. Under Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada it is against the law for anyone to abuse their spouse, common-law partner, or girlfriend/boyfriend.
